Responsibilities & Guidelines

As the facilitator or admin of a Lifemakeover group, you have certain responsibilities and guidelines to follow.

  • When you create a group on the site, you are automatically the group admin.
  • As group admin, all requests for membership in the group will be sent to you.
  • Please ensure that your e-mail address is correct in your profile.
  • Double check that you have entered the correct location for the group.
  • Please respond promptly when you receive requests about your group. You will receive an email with a link to view pending membership requests.
  • You can send a message to a pending member by clicking on their name and clicking Private Message. If you’re not sure what to say, use one of our sample response letters.
  • Once you have determined that the person is in your area and is a good fit for your group, Accept their membership request.

Important:

  • If your group is not accepting new members, please list your group as “closed.” This will allow you to still receive information pertaining to facilitators, however you will no longer receive inquiries from those looking to join a group. You can easily update your group information by selecting My Groups » Admin » Settings
  • If you choose to stop being an admin/facilitator for the group, please ask another member of the group if they would like to facilitate. You can promote any member of the group to admin by going to My Groups » Admin » Members page.  You can also demote yourself to just a member.

By entering your information and adding your name in our database as a Life Makeover Group™ facilitator, you hereby acknowledge and agree that there will be no charge or fee whatsoever associated with your group, and that your group will always remain free to all Life Makeover Group™ members. Email addresses sent to you are to be used for the sole purpose of Life Makeover Group correspondence ONLY.
